After a three-day meeting with the House of Representatives by all the warring factions in the ongoing crisis in the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), the legislators yesterday appealed to the stakeholders to respect its outcome.
Chairman of the House committee on sports, Godfrey Ali Gaiya said the parties should take whatever the resolutions his committee would come up with, for the overall interest of the Nigerian football.[eap_ad_2]
The committee had met with the immediate-past NFF chairman, Aminu Maigari on Friday, and then met with the Sports Minister Tammy Danagogo afterwards, before closing yesterday with the Christ Giwa-led board.
“My appeal to all of you is to trust us. Whatever position we come up, we urge that you should all be willing to abide by it. We are looking at a position that will suit majority of the parties involved. I want to assure you that we have taken note of all the issues raised, and God willing, we will do our best to come up with resolutions that will attempt to address them as we do not have the instrument to coerce or force compliance,” Gaiya said.[eap_ad_3]
