ENUGU – River Lane Football Club of Enugu on Saturday thrashed El-Nahag Football Club also of Enugu 3-0 in the semi-final of the Enugu State League.
River Lane took advantage of El-Nahag’s sloppy start to bury three goals in their net before the break.
Solomon Nsude opened the floodgate in the 15th minute before Ifeanyi Iheme made it 2-0 in the 35th minute.
Ikenna Nnaji completed the rout in 37th minute to dash the hope of El-Nahag coming back into the game.
With the victory, River Lane booked a clash with Ingas Football Club also of Enugu which overpowered Inter Football club 3-1 in penalty shootout after a goalless full time.
Meanwhile, El-Nahag Fc will confront Inter Fc at the third place match on April 19, the day of the final. (NAN)
