ENUGU – River Lane FC of Abakpa, Enugu on Saturday thrashed Ingas FC of Enugu 2-0 to emerged champions of the 2013/2014 Enugu State League.
The victory qualifies the team for the play off for the amateur league division three.
Goals from Solomon Nsude in each half gave the winners the victory.
Nsude first scored in the 30th minute from a free kick and made a brace with a penalty in the 52nd.
The Coach of River Lane, Charlie George, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that he did not entertain any fear about the final.
He also said he had always been confident playing the final of any competition.
“In final match of any competition, seeing the trophy before us motivates my players to put much effort.
“Thank God for this victory. Our effort this year would have been in vain,” He said. (NAN)
