He said his administration would ensure unity and peaceful co-existence amongst the people of the state.
“One of the pillars of our road map to prosperity is security of lives and property, unity of all our people, and peace,“ he stated.
According to him, Eleme is supposed to have developed beyond its present state in view of its strategic position as the “gateway to the nation’s economy“.
“Eleme is host to all the strategic oil facilities in this country, yet the main road that leads to Eleme is in bad condition.
“We will rebuild the infrastructure in Eleme. We will pay particular attention to the internal road network in Eleme so that our people can be connected to the rest of the world.“
Peterside said if voted to power, his administration would address the issue of flooding by constructing a drainage system in Eleme and assured that all on-going projects in Eleme would be completed.
Earlier, Chief Davies Ikanya, the state Chairman of APC, called on Eleme people to vote for the party to ensure rapid development of the area.
He said that the party was sure of victory in Eleme because of the support it had in the area. (NAN)
