RIVERS (Sundiata Post) – Senator who previously represented Rivers East Senatorial District, Andrew Uchendu has advised the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike to focus on his ministerial assignment instead of meddling in the political affairs of Rivers State.

Uchendu gave the advice a few days after the arsonists attacks on some local government areas in Rivers State, and the brewing political storm between the governor of the state, Siminalayi Fubara and Wike.

Senator Uchendu, an APC Leader disclosed that he had intervened in the ongoing political crisis within the state, urging the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike to focus on his job in Abuja and allow Governor Fubara to serve his tenure.

In Emohua, where some council offices were razed, the stakeholders unanimously resolved to move past the incident and focus on ensuring true development.

The Chairman of Emohua LGA, Rivers State, David Omereji assured the people of his commitment to equitable development, expressing confidence in the leadership of Governor Fubara to guide the state through the challenging times.

The meeting was preceded by the proclamation of the Legislative Assembly where a female councillor, Precious Ada-George was elected as the Leader of the House.
