ABUJA – The Rotary Club of Abuja CBD on Monday presented a cheque of N50,000 Army Day Secondary School, Asokoro, Abuja, to enable the school pay the WAEC fees of two students for the forthcoming Secondary School Senior Certificate Examination.
President of the club, Anne Uche Obi presented the cheque to Mr. Zaki Maikeffi, principal of the school in his office.
The principal thanked the club for the gesture, adding that many of the students are in a dilemma over WAEC and NECO fees.
Anne Obi was accompanied by Aisha Ali, the club’s secretary and President Nominee; Dr Anule Emmanuel, the youth director; Galam Oyinlola Lung-Ya, the incoming youth director and Rotarian Max Amuchie, the incoming president of the Rotary Club of Abuja CBD.
