Ruga settlement, on paper, might not be a bad idea after all. In fact, it might be a solution.
But we are dealing with a President who has seriously wounded our ETHNIC, RELIGIOUS and TRIBAL COHESION and HARMONY and has CRIMINALLY exposed and exploited our FAULT LINES.
Even if he tells some southern states today that he wants to establish a multi-billion naira project in their state that will employ thousands, they will view such with SUSPICION.
They will thank him for the gesture and say:
“Thanks Mr. President for this gesture. But kindly take the project to Daura.”
That is how much this man has lost CREDIBILITY among Nigerians outside the Fulani extraction.
It is a sad moment for Nigeria…
