The team had travelled to Lusaka on June 15 for a one week high altitude conditioning.
The statement maintained that the target for the team is to move to Division 1B in Africa.
“This will also lead to an improvement in the country’s global ranking by the International Rugby Board.”
It quoted the coach as saying that the team’s first match “will be tough”, as it would determine who gains promotion to the next level.
“We are going to have a very tough game against Zambia on Sunday.
“The teams are really well matched, and hopefully our game plans and the guys’ will to win will push us through,” Juries said. (NAN)
