… calls for evacuation of Nigerians in Ukraine
Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Former Presidential candidate in the 2019 general election and former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has called on all the nations of goodwill to rise and deploy to de-escalate the situation.
This is also as he urged Nigerian government to ensure the evacuation of Nigerian in the Ukraine. These Nigerians he noted are mostly christians.
Atiku who made the call via his Facebook page while reacting to the development in Russia said:
“The conflict between Russia & Ukraine demands that all nations of goodwill must rise to ensure that diplomacy is deployed to de-escalate the situation. I will also request that the Nigerian government does its best to evacuate Nigerians in Ukraine, majority of which are students.”
