Rwanda 2015 economic growth to speed up to 7 pct from 6.5 pct: IMF

Kigali – The International Monetary Fund on Wednesday raised Rwanda’s 2015 economic growth forecast to seven per cent from 6.5 per cent.
The IMF cited the resilience of the local currency against the dollar as a factor for the raise.
Laure Redifer, the IMF lead representative for Rwanda, told a conference in capital Kigali that growth was seen at about 6-6.5 per cent in 2016. (Reuter/NAN)
