Abuja – Stanislas Kamanzi, Rwanda’s High Commissioner to Nigeria, on Tuesday urged Nigerians to elevate their support for the Super Eagles at the upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN) by travelling to Rwanda.
Kamanzi told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja that Nigerians could take advantage of his country’s entry-point visa policy to support their national team in Rwanda.
NAN reports that the Super Eagles are billed for the 2016 CHAN which holds from Jan. 16 to Feb. 7 in three Rwandan cities.
They have been drawn in Group C alongside Niger Republic, Guinea and Tunisia
“I want Nigerians to take advantage of our entry-point visa policy and travel to Rwanda to support their darling team, the Super Eagles, and cheer them to victory.
“Already, the Rwanda High Commission in Nigeria has embarked on adequate sensitisation through the conventional and social media to carry Nigerians along in the campaign towards hosting a successful CHAN 2016,’’ the High Commissioner said.

He further said Nigerians, while in Rwanda to enjoy the football game, would further have the opportunity to enjoy the tourist potential of Rwanda.
“I urge Nigerians to go there to enjoy the game and the good tourism potential and hospitality of Rwanda,” Kamanzi said.(NAN).
