Lagos – A 25-year-old sales woman, Oluwatosin Salami, who allegedly stole her employer’s N93, 000 was on Monday brought before an Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court.
The accused, who resides at 5, Adesan Road, Mowe, Ogun State, is being tried for stealing.
The Prosecutor, Insp. Raji Akeem, told the court that the offence was committed between July 3 and July 30 at Grand Super Market, Alausa, Ikeja.
Akeem said that the accused failed to remit N93, 000 from the proceeds of the sales she made to the company’s account.

The offence contravened Section 287 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The Chief Magistrate, Mrs Jadesola Adeyemi-Ajayi, admitted the accused to bail in the sum of N50, 000 with two sureties in like sum.
Adeyemi-Ajayi adjourned the case until Aug. 16, for mention.
