…Ask for pray for peace during Eid-el-Kabir

Jos (Sundiatapost) – Catholic Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (CAMPAN) has joined other Nigerians to rejoice with the Muslim faithful on the occasion of the celebration of Eid-el-Kabir.
The association urges Muslims and Nigerians in general to use the Eid-el-Kabir period when they remember the encounter between God and Abraham on the mountain to pray for the unity and peace of Nigeria and shun hate campaigns.
In a statement in Jos Signed by National President Patrick Osu and National Secretary Peter Dada CAMPAN asked Muslim to use the period and beyond to preach and spread love, peace, unity and togetherness among Nigerians no matter their because in unity, we are stronger as a nation.
“We must not allow anything to divide us; but learn to live together as one indivisible country no matter our diverse ethnic groups .”
It prays that Allah will hear the prayers and supplications of Muslims from Nigeria currently on holy pilgrimage in the Holy land of Mecca for peace to continue to reign in the country and among Nigerians.
Also that Allah in His mercy and compassion will bring them back home in good health of mind ,body and soul. Amen.
CAMPAN also advised Nigerians to use this period to pray to God for the resolution of the economic challenges currently facing the country.
CAMPAN urged all Muslims and Nigerians in general to always have absolute faith in God for with Him everything is possible as manifested in the encounter between God and Abraham.
CAMPAN expressed absolute faith and believe in God,stressing that He will continue to grant Nigerians His peace, love and grace at all times.
While urging all Muslimsto tolerate one another and uphold the spirit of sharing especially with the less privileged as this is one of the cardinal principles of this celebration, CAMPAN said, “All Nigerians should touch the lives of the needy around them during this season and make it a habit.
“This will, indeed, earn them the blessings of Allah as done to Abraham.
“With God’s blessings on Nigerians, our country will continue to be a prosperous one where there will be no room for social vices,” CAMPAN added.
