Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted as President Muhammadu Buhari addressed the released abducted Kankara students in Hausa rather than English language.
Fani-Kayode charged President Buhari to treat all Nigerians aaequal if he wants Nigeria to remain one.
The PDP chieftain who reacted when he took to his twitter handle reminded the president that English is the lingua franca of Nigeria and not Hausa and that those kids are NIGERIAN children and not just Hausa Fulani children.
He stressed that millions from all over the country, including the South, prayed for their release and they also deserved to understand what he said to the kids when he met them.
Sundiata Post recalls that President Muhammadu Buhari who visited the released Kankara students in company of Katsina state governor, Bello Masari addressed the students in House Language.

You addressed the Kankara students at a public gathering in front of the nations media in Hausa rather than English. May I remind Mr. President that English is the lingua franca of Nigeria & not Hausa & that those kids are NIGERIAN children and not just Hausa Fulani children.
Millions from all over the country, including the South, prayed for their release & they also deserved to understand what you said to the kids when you met them. If you want Nigeria to remain one then treat us all as equals. If you do not then carry on with what you are doing.
