Sen. Jibrilla promises to operate as peoples’ servant if elected governor

Yola-  Sen. Bindow Jibrilla, All Progressives Congress’ (APC), gubernatorial candidate in Adamawa has promised to operate as people’s servant if elected in 2015.

Jibrilla made the promise while addressing APC stakeholders’ meeting in Yola on Wednesday.

“I am going to serve as the peoples’ servant and will ensure that everyone is carried along without discrimination”, Jibrilla said.

The governorship candidate expressed gratitude to the party supporters for electing him flag bearer and promised that he would not disappoint them.

Earlier, Chairman of the party in the state, Alhaji Abdullahi Yamusa, urged members to unite for the victory of the party.

Yamusa said the hitch-free party primaries at all levels had further strengthened the party, “thus making it the party to beat in 2015 general elections.’’

The Director-General of Bindo Campaign Organisation, Mr Boss Mustafa, expressed the preparedness of the organisation to work for the victory of the party at all levels.

Mustafa announced the receipt of a free campaign office for the governorship candidate and the donation of 100 campaign bill boards.

He said the property was donated by some members of the party.

Mustafa urged members to embark on mass mobilisation of supporters at all levels for them to contribute to the success of the party’s campaigns. (NAN)
