Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Senate is in a closed-door session with the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu over community policing.
The Senate had last week invited the IGP to appear before it today and brief them on the possible concept and practical implementation modalities of community policing policy.
It would be recalled that several regions and states are working on possible ways of establishing their own police.
The IGP who appeared before the Senate in company of the Special adviser to the President on National Assembly matters, Babajide Omoworare, is addressing the lawmakers under a closed session.
