IKOM – The Senate Leader, Sen. Victor Ndoma-Egba, has advised his constituency members to participate in the forthcoming distribution of Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) and Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) in Cross River.
He gave the advice at Ikom during his interaction with some members of Cross River Central Senatorial District.
Ndoma-Egba urged all eligible voters to fully participate in the forthcoming issuance of PVC and CVR by the Independent National Election Commission (INEC).
The senate leader told them that INEC would issue PVC to eligible voters in the state from Aug.15 to Aug.17.[eap_ad_2]
He said that INEC had fixed the continuous registration of voters from Aug. 20 to Aug. 25.
Ndoma-Egba stressed the importance of the two exercises, adding that they were important for every resident of Cross River to acquire their PVC.
He also advised those who attained18 years to register because the data would provide basic statistics for planning and other activities that would benefit the state and its people.
“People must understand and appreciate the power of their vote,” Ndoma-Egba said.
He also advised the people to participate in the exercises so as to vote for the leaders of their choice in the next general elections. (NAN)[eap_ad_3]
