Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The Sexual Harassment bill 2019 on Wednesday passed second reading at the floor of the Senate.
The bill which seeks to prevent, prohibit and redress Sexual Harassment of Students in Tertiary Educational Institutions and for other matters connected therewith was sponsored by the Deputy Senate President, Ovie-Omo Agege and other co-sponsors.
Introducing the debate, Senator Omo-Agege who reminded that the Bill was unanimously passed by the 8th Senate, thanked hii colleagues who were part of exemplary spirit of unity of purpose, patrotism and service.
