Siasia names 18 players ahead of Zambia Clash

Nigeria U23 gaffer has named a list of 18 players ahead of Saturday’s make or break 2015 All African Games qualifier against host, Zambia.

Coach Samson Siasia’s men were forced to a 0-0 draw in the first leg played in Abuja two weeks ago and must get a win or a scored draw to qualify for the quadrennial African sports fiesta which also serves as qualifiers for the 2016 Olympic Games football event in Rio, Brazil.

Flying Eagles attacking duo of Awoniyi Taiwo and Bernard Bulbwa made the cut while Dele Alampasu was dropped from the Lusaka bound team. The team is expected to depart for Zambia today (Wednedsay).

Goal keepers: Daniel Emmanuel, Akande Abiodun.

Defenders: Obanor Erhun, Oduduwa Segun, Amuzie Stanley, Atanda Sodiq, Mustapha Abdullahi, Iroha Chukwuebuka.

Midfielders: Azubuike Okechukwu, Godwin Savior, Mohammed Usman, Sokari Kingsley.

Forwards: Etebo Oghenekaro, Ajayi Junior, Onyekachi Peter, Awoniyi Taiwo, Ubong Ekpai, Bernard Bulbwa.
