The Chief Executive Officer of Fathia Entertainment, Olawale B, has disclosed that renowned Nollywood actor, Tolani Oyebamiji, widely known as Sisi Quadri, had secured his United States visa prior to his untimely demise.
In a poignant Instagram post via his handle, @fathiaentertainments_showbiz, the CEO, also a show promoter and tour manager, expressed sorrow over the news, stating, “So sad to hear the death of Nollywood actor @iamsisiquadir. US visa was already approved, date fixed already. Who are we to question God?”
The late actor, who passed away at the age of 44, gained acclaim for his role in the movie ‘Seniyan Seranko,’ released on December 4, 2004. Sisi Quadri was poised to enthrall audiences in the forthcoming film ‘Anikulapo: The Return of Spectre,’ initially scheduled for cinema release but later launched on Netflix.
Nollywood actress Abiola Bayo, in a heartfelt message on her verified Instagram handle, bid farewell to Sisi Quadri, stating, “You will be greatly missed. May your soul rest in perfect peace.”
Actor Tunde Yusuf, sharing Sisi Quadri’s picture, reflected on the transient nature of life, saying, “Everything in the world is according to the will of Allah. May God bless, rest your soul, bro.”
The National President of the Theatre Arts And Motion Pictures Practitioners Association Of Nigeria, Bolaji Amusan, popularly known as Mr. Latin, confirmed the actor’s demise in an Instagram post, saying, “Hmmmmm! May God grant him eternal rest.”
Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, expressed shock and devastation at Oyebamiji’s death, describing him as a fantastic actor loved by many. The governor noted in a condolence message that Sisi Quadri’s acting style radiated homes with laughter, making him a delight to watch on screen.
