MARUDA (SOKOTO STATE) – Former Military Administrator of Sokoto State , retired Navy-Capt. Adisa Raji, on Wednesday inaugurated a Model Girls Boarding Primary School in Maruda village, Kware Local Government Area of the state.
The school was built by the state government at the cost of N337 million.
Speaking at the Inauguration, Raji said the school would provide the children of less-privileged with quality education.
“Education is the best legacy any government can bequeath on its people and generations yet unborn,” he said.
The State Governor, Alhaji Aliyu Wamakko, said at the occasion that the gesture was aimed at affording indigent children to acquire quality education.
“This is part of resolve of the state government to provide quality education at all levels; This project is important as it is specially meant for the girl-children.”

The Special Adviser on Boarding and private schools, Dr Kulu Haruna, commended the state government for establishing the school.
She said the school was fully equipped with the state-of-the art facilities.(NAN)
