Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Again, in conformity with the requirements of Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON), NELMACO Global Resources have been recertified with the Mandatory Conformity Assessment Programme (MANCAP).
Priding itself as the first indigenous Pipe manufacturing company in Nigeria, SON said the company’s products have been reconfirmed safe for use and durability.
Presenting NELMACO with the recertified MANCAP, SON’s State Coordinator, Engr. Kenneth Joseph Shawo, who presented the certificate in Jos on Friday, said the Pipe company was found worthy of maintaining and improving in its standard.
According to him: “The journey for the feat began in 2005 when the company began operation and in line with matching up with standard, NELMACO applied for certification and was found worthy after due process was completed.
“Several years later, we are pleased to recertify NELMACO and this is a giant stride in your pursuit of ensuring that your products and activities are safe, durable and have maintained the desired quality.
“By this achievement, NELMACO has joined the lofty class of recognised MANCAP companies in Nigeria”, Shawo said.
Responding to the achieved milestone, the Managing Director, NELMACO , Mr. Victor Mkparu said, the company is committed to being part of a sustainable future, in which economic growth combines with sound environmental management to meet the needs and aspirations of customers throughout the world.
