PRETORIA – South Africa is budgeting 180 billion rand ($12 billion) for energy investment over the next three years, according to a document released Monday outlining steps taken by a government-business team tasked with finding ways to spur growth.
The document also says that the government is looking at ways to sell non-strategic state assets. The task team reported to President Jacob Zuma on Monday.
