South Africa’s April credit growth slows to 7.06% year-on-year

JOHANNESBURG   – Growth in private sector credit demand in South Africa slowed to 7.06 percent year-on-year in April from a revised 8.74 percent in March, central bank data showed on Tuesday.

Expansion in the broadly defined M3 measure of money supply was at 8.98 percent year-on-year in April, down from 10.3 percent in March.(Reuters)
