South Africa’s power utility to cut 1,000 MW of electricity on Monday

JOHANNESBURG – South Africa’s Eskom [ESCJ.UL] plans to reduce as much as 1,000 megawatts of electricity from the national grid on Monday, the power utility said in a statement on Twitter.

The power cuts would start from 1500 GMT and last until 2000 GMT.
