Spanish court says suspends soccer players’ strike

MADRID – Spain’s High has suspended a soccer players’ strike after agreeing a petition filed by professional soccer league (LFP) against a planned action by players’ union (AFE) that threatened match days in La Liga.

AFE had moved to strike 16 because is unhappy a mandating collective bargaining for sale of rights to show soccer on television, prompting a challenge by LFP, which argued action was illegal.
