Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The former youth president of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN), Engr. Daniel Kadzai, has asked the immediate past Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, to stop deceiving Christians with the Bible.
It can be observed that since the Mr. Emefiele was arrested and detained by the Department of State Services (DSS), and subsequently the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), he is always seen with a big Bible in his hands whenever he is being accompanied by either be of the both security agencies.

He said he is only using the Bible to draw sympathy from Christians describing it as the tactics of a typical Nigerian politician who uses religion only to divide and confuse the citizens into blindfolding them from reasoning objectively.
Kadzai said when Emefiele was in office he hardly associated himself with Christians and made it difficult for Christian clerics to assess him.
“During the Naira Redesign, Emefele rejected advice from Christian clerics and the call to drop the idea.
“People suffered untold hardship during the time with some that lost their lives as a result of not being able to access healthcare because of scarcity of the Naira notes.

“The story is the same all over the country”, Kadzai said.
He also explained that the fraud that happened at CBN during the Naira redesign was unprecedented, a case Emefele must answer to.
According to him: “Though my stance may not stop some disgruntled elements from outside the government as well as influential politicians who are very close to the embattled former CBN governor, and who have benefitted hugely from his scams against Nigerian people through receiving all sort of contracts and financial favours, to fight back.
“These elements are using their influence inside the administration of president Tinubu as well as using proxies to sponsor protests through Civil Society Organisations and other groups to fight the DSS.
“These selfish politicians have shown to have no regards to the rule of law, nor do they care about the general security of the country.
“It is important that Nigerians ask the following important questions:
“What is Emefiele doing with the catchment of ammunition discovered at his home? Why are powerful people who are known to be selfish and corrupt supporting Emefiele and shielding him away from facing justice? If Emefiele believes he is not guilty and he can prove it over the course of the investigation, that will be a huge win for his image.
“It is clear to Nigerians that the CBN governor and his cohorts are trying hard to scuttle the investigation, for them it is not a matter of Justice, but a matter of LEAVE HIM ALONE irrespective of what he has done wrong”, Kadzai said.
