An unidentified man was apprehended after being found in possession of a bomb on the premises of a bank in Dadin Kowa town, Jos South area, Plateau State. Prompt action by vigilant security personnel prevented a potential tragedy as soon as the bomb was discovered.
According to security analyst Zagazola Makama’s post on X, the suspect was spotted by bank vigilantes who acted swiftly to thwart the attack. Following the incident, an enraged crowd reportedly demanded the suspect’s execution.
Subsequently, the suspect was handed over to the police for thorough investigation. A photo accompanying Makama’s post depicted the bomb strapped around the suspect’s abdomen.
It remains unclear whether the suspect has any ties to terrorist organizations within the country.
