Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The Supreme Court on Friday returned Dauda Lawal as Zamfara state governor.
In the judgment read by Justice Emmanuel Agim, the Apex Court holds that the Court of Appeal judgment of November 16, 2023 “has no evidential foundation” and thereby sets it aside.
The Apex Court panel also set aside the Appeal Court order declaring the March 18 governorship election in Zamfara State inconclusive.
