Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The All Progressive Congress (APC), in Plateau State has called on security agencies to beef up security in the State as the Supreme Court sets to deliver judgment on Friday 12th January, 2024.
Recall that the governorship election tussle between the Governor, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang and the APC governorship aspirant, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda has dragged to the Supreme Court the hearing of written addresses which was adopted on Tuesday 9th January 2024. https://sundiatapost.com/just-in-scourt-reserves-judgement-in-plateau-gov-poll-appeal/
The Court has however communicated to both parties that Judgement on the matter will be delivered on 12th January.
Reacting to the date of judgment, the APC in the State through its publicity Secretary, Sylvanus Namang, in a statement on Thursday, urged its supporters to be calm as they wait for the Supreme Court outcome.
According to him: “The All Progressives Congress is calling on all its members, supporters and well wishers to be calm and refrain from any act contrary to our culture of maintaining decorum and peace in all our conducts.

“We enjoins security agencies in the State to be extra vigilant to ensure that law and order is maintained.
“The party wishes to restate its position on the respect for constitutionalism and rule of law which are sacrosanct for democracy and good governance”, the statement reads
