Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed has reacted to the dismissal by the Supreme Court of the appeal by Sadique Abubakar of the All Progressives Congress, saying that the victory reaffirms that the good work in Bauchi State must go on.
Bala, who reacted via his X handle account (formerly twitter), expressed appreciation to God and thanked stateholders who stood by him in this journey, particularly religious and faith leaders, political associates, friends, and well-wishers.
Sundiata Post recalls that the Supreme Court affirmed the decision of the Court of Appeal and dismissed the appeal by Sadique Abubakar of the All Progressives Congress for lacking in merit.
The Supreme court has affirmed the election of Bala Mohammed of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the Bauchi State governor.
Governor Bala, who could not hide his excitement over the apex court’s ruling said:
“In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful, I offer all praises to Allah for our victory. This triumph belongs to the people of Bauchi State and our esteemed party, the @OfficialPDPNig.
