Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The latest COVID-19 update from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control revealed that 151 new cases were confirmed on Friday bringing total confirmed cases to 59,992.

The report released via twitter handle account said that Lagos State, the epicentre for COVID-19 top the table with

71 infections, Ogun came second with 26 while Kaduna and Osun came third and fourth with 17 and 10 cases respectively.

Others are Oyo-8; FCT and Rivers-6 each; Plateau-5; Akwa Ibom and Ekiti-1 each.

The NCDC noted that a total of 51,614 patients have been treated and discharged while 1,113 deaths have been recorded from COVID-19 related complications.

It gave the state by state breakdown of since the index case for the 36 states of the federation including FCT as :

Abuja (Sundiata be Post)  –  Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has treated and discharged 51,551 patients out of the 59,841 who tested positive for COVID-19 across the country.

The NCDC which stated this in its report released via twitter handle informed that 1,113 deaths have been recorded since the index case was reported on 27th February, 2020.

According to the health agency, 103 fresh cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria on Thursday as follows:

Rivers-21
FCT-19
Oyo-6
Kaduna-4
Bauchi-3
Ogun-3
Imo-2
Kano-2
Benue-1
Edo-1
Nasarawa-1
Plateau-1

Abuja (Sundiata Post) –  Nigeria’s epicentre of COVID-19, Lagos State, accounted for 84 out of 155 fresh cases of recorded on Wednesday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has said.

According the report released by the NCDC via it’s twitter handle, total confirmed cases have risen to 59,738 out of which 51,403 patients have been treated and discharged.

The health agency also said that the total death toll ocassion by COVID-19 related complications since the index case was recorded on 27th February stood at 1,113.

The NCDC noted that only eight states including the FCT reported COVID-19 infections as follows:

Kaduna-12
Osun-10
FCT-7
Oyo-6
Ogun-3
Kwara-2

Abuja (Sundiata Post) –  Nigeria’s confirmed COVID-19 infections figure shrunk to  58 new cases on Sunday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has said.

According to the report released by the NCDC, the newly recorded cases brought the total confirmed cases to 59,345 out of which 50,768 patient’s have been treated and discharged.

The health agency further informed that the death toll arising from COVID-19 related complications have risen to 1,113
since the index case was reported in February 27 2020.

The 58 cases were reported from nine states including FCT as follows:

Katsina-10
Ogun-5
Kaduna-4
Edo-3
Ekiti-1Poste
