Taipei – Taiwan President Ying-jeou Ma said on Friday, ahead of a meeting with Chinese President, Jinping Xi, many issues remained to be resolved with China.

Ma said that the number of issues between Taiwan and China had decreased over the years but there were still a lot to be resolved.
Ma is scheduled to hold talks with Xi on Saturday in Singapore in the first face-to-face meeting between the leaders of the two sides in six decades.
The planned meeting has sparked protests in the Taiwanese capital. (dpa/NAN)
