ABUJA – The Tax Appeal Tribunal, Abuja, on Thursday adjourned hearing till Feb.2 the suit filed against Hotel Ladon Limited, Abuja by the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) for non-payment of N6.8

million tax.
The tribunal’s Acting Chairman, Mr Nnamdi Ibegbu, adjourned the matter at the instance of the parties.
According to the notice filed by the FIRS, the company was in default of payment of company Income[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″] Tax, Education Tax, and Value Added Tax(VAT), totaling N6.8 million.
The total sum owed by Hotel Ladon was for 2010 to 2013 assessment years.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]
Mr Aloysius Ezenwa, counsel to the hotel said the terms for settlement were ready.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]
Mrs Najaatu Bashir, counsel to FIRS, said Mrs Gift Ojemen, the Managing Director of the hotel, had come to their office for settlement but was told to come to the tribunal. (NAN)
