prisons, a Yaba Chief Magistrates’ Court handed down the sentence in Lagos on Wednesday.
Magistrate Oluwatoyin Oghere, who gave the verdict, did not give the convict an option of fine.
Yesi, a resident of Gbagada area of Lagos, was convicted of a charge of theft after he pleaded guilty.
He, however, pleaded with the court to temper justice with mercy.

She said the accused was caught with the motorcycle by passersby who intervened and called in the Police.
They recovered the motorcycle from the accused.
The offence contravened Section 287 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015 (Revised).
