Ibadan – Candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Oyo South Senatorial District, Chief Joseph Tegbe, has felicitated a former Gov. Rashidi Ladoja on the occasion of his 78th birthday.
Tegbe, in a statement issued by his media team in Ibadan on Sunday, described Ladoja’s contributions to Ibadan, Oyo State and Nigeria in general as a testament to his impactful legacies.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Ladoja, the Otun-Olubadan of Ibadanland, clocked 78 on Sunday, Sept. 25.
“Happy 78th birthday to an elder statesman and our father, the Ọtun Olubadan of Ibadan land and former Governor of Oyo state, High Chief Rashidi Ladoja.
“I join your family, friends and associates in giving gratitude to Allah for keeping you till this day. It is neither by power nor by might, but by the grace of the Almighty.
“It is indeed a great feat to attain the age you have attained, the wisdom you have espoused and the achievements you have recorded,” he said.
According to Tegbe, Ladoja’s contributions to the growth and development of Ibadan land, Oyo state and Nigeria as a whole are testimonies of how impactful he has lived in the past 78 years.
“As you celebrate your birthday today, I pray to God to continue to keep you safe and well, and grant you many more years in good health.
“May you live long and healthy,” the PDP senatorial candidate said. (NAN)
