There is no PDP in Eleme— Nle-Ejii

Hon. Marcus Nle-Njii, a former commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Rivers State has described Eleme kingdom as a one-party local government.

Nle-Ejii who was also a former member of Rivers State House of Assembly made the assertion during a rally for Dr. Dakuku Peterside, governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC and his running mate, Honourable Okorie Asita in Eleme.
He described the APC as the only party in Eleme with nearly a hundred per cent support base in the kingdom.  Nle-Njii challenged the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to show evidence of their presence if they disagree with his claim.

“As far as I am concerned, there is no PDP in Eleme Local Government Area and you can see it yourself from this mammoth crowd. I can assure you that we will win with a very huge margin and let me emphasise that nobody can stop Eleme people from voting for APC. No amount of soldiers, police and other security agencies can stop us from voting for our preferred candidates because we are a determined people.”

In the same vein, the commissioner of Sports, Fred Igwe called on the people of Eleme to leave nothing to chance. He described the next stage of the campaign as critical, calling on the people to go from house to house, church to church and community to community as they mobilise for Peterside and APC.

In his speech, the APC Deputy National Secretary, Hon Oji Ngofa called on the people to be vigilant and steadfast as they promote Peterside and other APC candidates.

“Eleme has keyed into the narrative of APC. Eleme is the face of APC and APC is the face of Eleme. As a people, we cherish competence and ability, Peterside has in excess, these great qualities. That is why we have rejected the candidate created from presidential laboratory of impunity and power drunkenness. The only platform that gives us hope, is APC and we must support this party of equal opportunities and justice to the end”.

He spoke extensively that Buhari is the hope of Eleme people since our neighbour has failed us in all respects.

All the speakers extolled the virtues of the APC governorship candidate, promising to massively support him next year.
