Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Justice Efe Ikponmwonba of the Edo State High Court sitting in Benin City on Thursday July 14, 2022 convicted and sentenced three internet fraudsters to jail for fraud.
The Commission disclosed this today via it’s verified twitter handle @officialEFCC.
The convicts, Oziegbe Famous, Clifford Johnson and Emmanuel Osas Uwadiae were arraigned by the Benin Zonal Command of the EFCC on separate one count charge of impersonation and obtaining by false pretence.
They were said to have impersonated foreign nationals in order to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.
