Abuja (Sundiata Post) – No fewer than three people suspected to be Yoruba nation agitators, who invaded Oyo State Secretariat have been killed in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
Sundiata Post reports that at least five of the agitators have also been arrested.
The three were killed during a confrontation with security operatives at the Oyo State Secretariat on Saturday.
The deceased were neutralised when they invaded Oyo state Secretariat in a attempt to take over the state house of assembly.
Our correspondent recalls that some people suspected to be Yoruba nation agitators stormed the Secretariat that housed the governor’s office, House of Assembly, ministries, agencies and some departments.
Sundiata Post gathered that three of the agitators have been killed when the security operatives attempted to resist their move to take over the seat of government.
Our correspondent also gathered that at least five of the remaining agitators have been arrested by the security operatives.
The suspects are currently in custody of the security operatives.
