President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Dr. Danjuma Adamu Ismaila as the Rector and Chief Executive of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria.
Dr. Ismaila is a specialist in air transportation management, transport economic policy, and aviation security. He earned a Physics degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, in 1989, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Transportation.
Over the years, he has participated in various civil aviation management and transportation training programs, including workshops and seminars. He is a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society (UK) and the Air Transport Research Society. Before his appointment, he was a lecturer at the Federal University of Transportation, Daura.
The announcement was made on February 19, 2025, by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information & Strategy.
