ABUJA (SUNDIATA POST)- Rep. Philip Agbese, the Deputy Spokesperson of the House of Representatives says President Bola Tinubu will restore the people’s confidence in his administration, urging them not to protest against his government.
Agbese said this while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Tuesday.
He also said that the president will appoint competent hands to work with him and change the leadership of the Nigeria National Petroleum Company Ltd (NNPCL) and the Nigerian Mistream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA)
This he said is to forestall the incessant crisis in the oil sector.
“The president issued a warning sometime ago that he will not hesitate to sack his appointees or those inherited from past administration if they failed to do well.
“I believe strongly that he will do all that he has promised to do . Nobody loves this country more than Tinubu.
” This is one man who is ready to sacrifice everything for Nigeria especially the youths of this country.
“I call on my comrades, peers and partners in progress not to participate in any protest,” he said.
He added that the president had given more appointments to young people more than any other African leader in recent times, saying, “how then do we pay him back with protests against his administration?
” The fit and proper thing at this point is to support him,” he added. (NAN)
