Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The Lagos International Trade Fair Complex Stakeholders Association, has congratulated the Executive Director (ED), Lagos International Trade Fair, Barr. Vera Ndanusa in his one year in office.
”This important accomplishment demonstrates Ndanusa’s steadfast dedication to the Complex growth and prosperity”, a statement signed by the President of the Association, Chief Eric Lechukwu and the Secretary Obpala-Obaba said.
The duo said under the ED administration, Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs), have received tremendous boost as well as environmental face-lift within the complex to encourage efficiency of trade and commerce.
They highlighted other achievements of Ndanusa in just a year that earned her an accolade named “Mama-General”.
”Ndanusa’s tenure has also seen the strengthening of obnoxious policies that mitigated the growth of businesses in the Complex.
“Her strides have led to the visit of legislators’ oversight function visit to see to the completion of critical infrastructure projects”.
The statement enumerated Ndanusa’s efforts as thus: “empowerment of stakeholders by bringing back the glory of stakeholders and recognizing their importance in the trade fair community.
“Promise of land for stakeholders secretariat by demonstrating commitment to providing a permanent home for stakeholders.
“Strategic partnerships by collaborating with government agencies to enhance trade facilitation.
“Infrastructural upgrades by boosting trade efficiency and competitiveness. Successfully hosted the Senate and House of Representatives Committee on Trade and Commerce, securing promises for the 5km road to be included in the next years’ federal budget.
“Returning the trade exhibition to the Trade Fair Complex, scheduled from 15-25 November 2024.
“We acknowledge your tireless efforts in addressing our concerns and improving the trade fair complex”, the statement reads.
Recall that President Bola Tinubu, had on October 14, 2023, appointed Ndanusa as the ED of the Trade Fair Complex, charging her to drive the mantra of the government ( The Renewed Hope Agenda), to be evident in her new portfolio.
Running with the mantra, Ndanusa had in one year performed what the occupants of the Complex will call magic, as she has surpassed expectations, turning around the blockages that has hampered growth in the Nigeria’s commercial market hub (The Trade Fair Complex).
