ABUJA – An early morning traffic gridlock on Nyanya-Kugbo road in the FCT on Wednesday trapped [pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]
thousands of motorists for many hours.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that most of the road users caught up in the hold-up that [pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]
included workers and traders, found it difficult to reach their various destinations due to the situation.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]
The FCT Sector Commander of the FRSC, Mrs Susan Ajenge, told NAN that a long haulage truck, loaded with oranges fell
into a ditch while trying to climb the hill and blocked one lane of the road.

“It was brought to our notice this morning that a vehicle broke down on the route, making it difficult for motorists to move freely.
“We have moved to the scene of the incident with a tow truck to remove the loads on the vehicle so that we can easily move the vehicle itself.
“We are seriously working on it and we want members of the public, especially people on that route, to bear with us while we work on the development,” Ajenge said.
NAN reports that the incident occurred after the military checkpoint before Sani Abacha Barrack on the road.(NAN)
