He stated that Benue State is ravaged by serious economic and political instability, lack of industries and serious underdevelopment in the education and agricultural sectors, and insisted that only a God fearing leader can salvage the situation.
“My administration is not going to be like that of other leaders who dwelled largely on deceit because Benue is seriously lagging behind in areas of education, industrialisation, agriculture, entrepreneurship development and the general economy.”
“This administration will be inclusive and all encompassing to bring the state back to its desired status of development. My administration will promote excellence above mediocrity, we shall eradicate poverty, spiritual diseases and provide conventional services,” Ortom stated.
He said that ensuring adequate development is the responsibility of all and sundry.
Appealed to the people to be useful in order to offer valuable contributions that would assist the incoming administration to better the well being of the people.
