TUNIS – Tunisia, Algeria and Egypt are Africa’s only representatives at the World Handball Championship being hosted by Qatar from Jan. 15 to Feb. 1.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]
Egypt will play in Group C with France, Sweden, Czech Republic, Algeria and Ireland, while Tunisia is in [pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]Group B together with Croatia, Bosnia Herzegovina, Macedonia, [pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]Austria and Iran.
Egypt and Algeria will play in what is considered a difficult group because it includes France and
[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”8″]Switzerland, holders of world title records.
Tunisia has played several friendly games against Algeria, Brazil, Argentine, Italy, Slovenia and Russia in preparations for the competition.
