Turkish president Erdoğan arrives in Ghana

Accra – Turkish President, Recep Erdoğan arrived Accra on Monday night for a two-day visit during which he hold talks his host John Dramani Mahama.

He is accompanied by his wife, Emine, and over 150 business and government officials.
According to the itinerary released by the Flagstaff House, Ghana’ presidency, President Erdoğan, address a Business Forum and join President Mahama to cut the sod for the official commencement of work on a terminal building at the Kotoka International Airport Accra.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”70560″]
The Turkish president also hold discussions the Speaker of Parliament, Mr Edward Doe Adjaho and address the House, before visiting the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park with his wife.
His visit follows a 2013 visit to Ankara and Istanbul by President Mahama and an earlier 2011 visit to Ghana by former Turkish President Abdullah Gül. (PANA/NAN)
