ABUJA – Falconets’ head coach Peter Dedevbo says the team will re-strategise ahead of their second Group C match against South Korea at the ongoing FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
The team’s Media Officer, Elizabeth Kah, in a statement on Thursday, quoted Dedevbo as saying he would work on the team’s tactics “from ball control and passes, to finishing’’.
The Falconets coach was speaking against the backdrop of the team’s 1-1 draw in their opening Group C match against Mexico at the Moncton stadium in Canada on Wednesday.
“The match is like every other match, where at times what one expects to see doesn’t happen or your plan does not work and you feel a bit disappointed.

“There is no problem about the team. It happens like that in most first matches of every competition. But the players tried their best.
“Although, I did not expect the Mexicans to be this strong, they have however given me the opportunity to see some lapses in my team, which I will work on.
“But the truth is that I am not satisfied with the draw, because I want a win to put the team at the top of the group,’’ Dedevbo said.
The Falconets will face their South Korean counterparts in their second Group C match on Aug. 9 by 9 p.m. Nigerian time.
The seventh edition of the Women’s World Cup, which kicked off with 16 teams on Aug. 5, will end on Aug. 24.(NAN)
