ABUJA (Sundiata Post) – As part of their expansion programme into Africa, Uber has announced that it would be branching out into other areas in order to build its logistics business, Sundiata Post gathered. This involves introducing UberEverything, a service that handles food delivery and courier transportation, into Africa.
UberEverything will be made up of UberRush, a personal courier service, and UberEats, a food delivery service.
According to Uber’s General Manager for sub-Saharan Africa, Alon Lits, UberEverything will pilot in South Africa before the end of the year.
