Alleged Liverpool fans went to the entrance of Anfield to give their opponent a cold welcome by throwing flares, bottles and sticks on the bus conveying the Manchester City team.
Sky sports via a tweet today April 5 confirmed that UEFA has decided to open investigations into the sad incident.
Both Liverpool management and Jurgen Klopp had personally condemned the incident while apologising to Pep Guardiola and his team before the recent decision of UEFA to investigate the fans behaviour.
