The Longman’s Dictionary of Contemporary English defines s€x as ” the activity in which a man and a woman join their sexual organs to create babies, or for pleasure.”
And it defines sexuality as “the things people do and feel that are connected with their desire or ability to have s€x. ”
Having known the meanings/definitions of s€x and sexuality, we should contextualise or situate sexual activities within the framework of s€x and sexuality.
S€x is also commonly used as an abbreviation to refer to sexual intercourse. Sexuality refers to the total expression of who you are as a human being, your femaleness or your maleness. Our sexuality begins at birth and ends at death. Everyone is a sexual being
S€x may also refer to the physiological and psychological processes related to procreation and sexual pleasure. Sexuality encompasses all aspects of sexual behaviour, including gender identity, orientation, attitudes, and activity.
Sexuality is about your sexual feelings, thoughts, attractions and behaviours towards other people. You can find other people physically, sexually or emotionally attractive, and all those things are a part of your sexuality. Sexuality is diverse and personal, and it is an important part of who you are.
